Angelina Mata is San Antonio’s preeminent high-end fashion designer.  Growing up in a family of artisans, Mata naturally took to the world of art and fashion. Her dream of becoming a full-time fashion designer came to fruition after many years of sculpting her workmanship through bespoke garment design whilst running her family salon. She also helped establish the local contemporary fashion scene by hosting and participating in several shows and exhibits over the last decade.

Professional artistry and dedication to her passion has gained her a large clientèle and the respect of the design community in San Antonio. Her clientèle ranges from youth wanting to stand out among the growing population of “fashionistas” to the classic urban woman demanding attention in all the right ways.  In addition Mata is often featured in contemporary art shows at venues including Blue Star Contemporary Art Center, and the Gallery of Missi Smith.  In September of 2011, Mata showed her Spring | Summer 2012 collection during New York Fashion Week which was well received among press.
